These prostheses, which can be described as snap or hook prostheses by the public, are preferred in patients who have too long gaps to bridge, in cases where there is no posterior tooth to bridge, and in cases that cannot be implanted psychologically, anatomically, morbidly and economically.
In their system, there is a skeleton structure consisting of clasps and precious metal alloys that surrounds the teeth as well as the entire prosthesis. It is a type of removable prosthesis on which acrylic teeth and soft tissues are placed on this skeletal structure.
It is an economical type of prosthesis that fits on the teeth next to the cavity with a metal skeleton with clasps, receives tissue support from edentulous areas, and is repaired by placing acrylic teeth on it.

HOW TO MAINTAIN?
Both the teeth in the mouth and the prosthesis should be cleaned very well. Special solutions and a denture brush should be used for cleaning the dentures. Toothpaste should never be applied to the prosthesis. Because the abrasives in the toothpaste damage the dentures. The teeth in the mouth should be brushed after each meal for at least 2 minutes.
Prostheses should be removed while sleeping at night.
You should go to the dentist every 6 months.
