AESTHETIC COATINGS (ZIRCONIUM, E-MAX)
We use the most modern treatment methods and technological tools to detect and treat every problem in your mouth and teeth.
In recent years, the aesthetic side of the field of dentistry has developed very rapidly and tremendously. This situation has been experienced especially in bridge and veneer treatments used to fill the area of missing teeth. This development in aesthetic veneers has brought the virtual image of the teeth, which is easily noticed by many, to the natural tooth image that is not noticed. Thanks to the light transmittance of E-max and zirconia materials used in aesthetic coatings, this natural appearance is provided. Unfortunately, this feature does not exist in the metal-based porcelain coatings applied in the past, and even creates a metallic color on the gingiva over time and creates gingival problems. Another important feature of the material used in aesthetic veneers is that it has a very high biocompatibility, and its compatibility with the gingival and dental surrounding tissues is very good. It can be used for many years thanks to its closeness to its natural appearance and its compatibility with the gingiva and surrounding tissues.
Implants are one of the best treatment methods in today’s dentistry, as they completely replace the existing teeth. Because when it is placed inside the existing jawbone, it completely combines with the bone and becomes a very durable structure. It creates a complete tooth structure with teeth in porcelain or zirconium structure placed on this durable structure. It offers a better solution in terms of function and aesthetics compared to the existing tooth, which is yellowed and worn, and the root surface is inflamed.
WHAT ARE THE USAGE AREAS OF AESTHETIC COATINGS (ZIRCONIUM, E-MAX)?
• In teeth used as bridges in individuals who do not want to have implants in their missing teeth.
• Too much processed or too large filled teeth
• On teeth that have been veneered or bridged
• In individuals who are planned to redesign structurally or colorly problematic teeth for smile design.
• In patients who do not want orthodontic treatment and have crowding that cannot be resolved with laminate
• In broken or cracked teeth that cannot be restored with laminate
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF AESTHETIC COATINGS (ZIRCONIUM, E-MAX)?
• It does not have the opaque (lightproof) and artificial appearance of classical porcelains, and provides both a natural and a brilliant aesthetic appearance with its light transmittance.
• Thanks to its glassy and durable structure, it keeps the amount of microorganisms on the tooth surface at a minimum level and protects the health of the gingiva and surrounding tissues thanks to its biocompatibility.
• Unlike classical metal-based porcelain, it does not carry the risk of allergies.
• Another little-known feature is that the thermal insulation is weak compared to classical porcelains. In this way, hot-cold sensitivity is not seen after the treatment.
HOW IS THE AESTHETIC COATINGS (ZIRCONIUM, E-MAX) APPLICATION PROCEDURE?
First of all, local anesthesia is performed for the relevant areas. Distances are adjusted for an ideal restoration by etching on all surfaces of the numbed teeth. After the gingiva and teeth are adjusted, digital impressions or conventional impressions are taken from the relevant area and the tooth preparation is transferred to the laboratory. After the laboratory process, first the infrastructure and then all the structures are rehearsed and the process is completed. During this procedure, which lasts approximately 2 weeks, temporary teeth are made to the patient and the patients do not experience any problems both functionally and aesthetically.
ARE AESTHETIC COATING (ZIRCONIUM, E-MAX) APPLICATIONS PAINFUL?
In the treatment of aesthetic veneers, since all related teeth and surrounding tissues are anesthetized with local anesthesia, individuals do not feel any pain or pain in these procedures. Temporary veneers are prepared within 1-2 days so that the abraded areas of the related teeth do not feel sensitive to hot and cold. Since these teeth are temporarily bonded with a special adhesive that covers the entire surface, there is little or no sensitivity or pain during the treatment. Thanks to these protective measures, these procedures are generally not very tiring for the patient.
