The treatment of all of these conditions is to clean the affected nerve vascular bundle and perform root canal treatment. It is very important to use up-to-date systems for the success of root canal treatment. Because the ideal cleaning of the canal up to the root tip can only be done with these systems. The leading instruments are the endodontic rotary instrument system and the apex locater instrument. In addition to these, the most important factor is that an experienced physician uses these instruments and combines them with his theoretical knowledge.

In the past, only hand tools were used and x-rays were taken in root canal treatment in dentistry. For this reason, the desired ideal canal cleaning and shaping could not be done. Thanks to the technological developments in the field of endodontics, rotary instrument systems have emerged that increase the success of root canal treatments, provide better washing of the inside of the canal, easily reach the root tip and offer a shorter treatment time.

Due to these advantages, rotary instrument systems are constantly used in all types of root canal treatment in our clinic.

HOW IS ROOT CANAL TREATMENT APPLICATION?

First, the area related to the local anesthesia procedure is anesthetized so that the patient does not feel any pain during the procedure. After the carious tissues are cleaned, the nerve-tissue structures and microorganisms in the pulp chamber where the vascular nerve package is located are cleaned. After reaching the pulp chamber, it is completely cleaned and shaped up to the tip of the root canals by switching to rotary instrument systems. Root canals that are shaped and smoothed are filled with special biocompatible materials. After the root canals are filled, filling, inlay-onlay and veneer are made according to the durability of the tooth.
The purpose of the application under local anesthesia; to remove tissue debris and bacterial toxins from the affected nerve channels. Then, the nerve spaces are shaped with special rotary instrument systems and root filling is performed with a tissue-friendly material. Then, restoration options such as filling, onlay-inlay, and coating are evaluated according to the material loss of the upper part. Root canal treatment can be done in a single session or in several sessions, depending on the structure of the roots and the general inflammatory condition.
