HYBRID PROSTHESES ON IMPLANT

Hybrid literally means mixing and combining multiple processes. If teeth are not made for many years after tooth loss occurs, both gingiva and bone loss will occur. Even after tooth loss, this situation is exacerbated if a removable prosthesis that pressurizes the tissue is used. At the same time, the distance between the tip of the chin and the nose has decreased in these individuals, and the lip support has weakened. In this case, it will not be enough to just make a tooth on the implant, even if it is done, the teeth will look too long or big and will not be aesthetic. For this reason, hybrid prostheses that show and support both the gingiva, soft tissues and tooth structure should be made in such cases.

Hybrid prostheses can be made occlusal screwed or cemented just like other implant tops. It is an application with slightly different spacers and stages. It is very important that the hybrid prosthesis is made by specialist and experienced physicians. Otherwise, all lost tissues may not be compensated.

HOW SHOULD I CARE?

Every surface of the teeth should be brushed for at least 2 minutes. The brushing technique should be in the form of first round movements from the gingiva to the tip of the tooth, and finally sweeping.
Especially at night, the acidity of the mouth increases and mouth dryness occurs. For this reason, brushing before going to bed should never be interrupted.
Mouthwashes with pressurized water should be used.
Regular dental check-ups every 6 months should not be interrupted.
