Recesses are placed on the sides or other parts of the previously veneered teeth, allowing the removable dentures to fit into these recesses like a key-lock system. They are prostheses that are frequently used in patients with edentulous ends or have very long tooth gaps, and have high aesthetics and retention.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

It is the most stable and retaining type of prosthesis among the removable prosthesis types.
-According to other motion prosthesis types, the fact that the clasps are not visible provides an aesthetic appearance.
– They are very durable structures with a key-lock system and do not break like crochet hooks.

HOW TO MAINTAIN?

Both the teeth in the mouth and the prosthesis should be cleaned very well. Special solutions and a denture brush should be used for cleaning the dentures. Toothpaste should never be applied to the prosthesis. Because the abrasives in the toothpaste damage the dentures.
The teeth in the mouth should be brushed after each meal for at least 2 minutes.
Prostheses should be removed while sleeping at night.
You should go to the dentist every 6 months.
